Our Story
At Hadaf, we are more than an organization—we are a movement. Born from the resilience and pain of the Hazara diaspora, our journey began with a simple question: “What can we do to make a difference?”
When the world turned a blind eye, we decided to act. In 2021, following the Taliban’s return to power in Afghanistan, a small group of young Afghans in Denmark came together. What started as conversations around shared grief quickly transformed into action. We became Hadaf—a collective dedicated to empowering those who have been silenced.
Our name, Hadaf, means “goal” or “target” in Dari. And that’s exactly what we represent: a target for change, a goal for a better future.

Milestones
Since our founding, we’ve been driven by action:
Founded by young Hazara diaspora members in Denmark.
Launched first aid education videos in Dari, reaching both Afghan and Danish communities.
Collected and distributed 30 smartphones in Afghanistan to launch the Aftab storytelling project.
Hosted record-breaking charity events, raising funds for orphanage construction and female-led family support.
Grew membership to over 230 individuals, with plans to expand globally.
